Tres Magnifique! There is a favorable #Euro exchange rate in play as my trips to #Italy and #France quickly approach.
While one can never plan or hope for our dollar to go farther, it's always enjoyable for me to track this data as I get close to traveling.
In addition to my 'pragmatic and fun' approach to traveling well, this makes it even less easy to understand why it's $12 to see an ordinary movie at a local theater and it is merely 14 Euro (15USD) to see the enormity of the Louvre and such.
At times you'll see people boasting on their expensive taste and it may make you think this is ordinary or a standard you must aspire to.
Au contraire!
I want to see more of the world, more of the time and I help others begin to do the same.
I want to go back to places I love over and over again. #Paris feels like home. Please explain this to me. Although #23AndMe says I'm nearly evenly French, German and UK. Such a nondescript breed for someone whose family immigrated here in the 1800's!
I want to intentionally expand my mind, opinions and my ideas ...through the eyes of how other people live and how other people think and operate quite nicely.
Trust me, I love our country. But once you travel and see fristhand what else is 'out there' it has the power to reshape, reframe how you view all of our preconceived notions... good, bad and otherwise. It's healthy. Highly recommend. ;) Some folks would benefit from a mere trip across their state's borders, but that's another conversation!😱
As I get closer to leaving in a few weeks and finally returning to the shores of Europe, I'm excited for the business opportunities at hand and the people I'll meet.
And then there is even more relaxation and enjoyment…

🥰 I'll also take all of the appropriately priced bottles of wine. You pay there for a bottle what we are charged here for a glass. Facts.
🥰 1 dollar coffees and TakeAway croissants.
🥰 Sitting idly along the Seine, the Place Concorde, the Jardin de Tuileries, Place de Vosges...and Luxembourg this time.
🥰 Strolling aimlessly up and down, back and forth across the myriad bridges linking the cities' neighborhoods.
😭Don't let anyone make you think that traveling is not attainable.
