What Are You Doing To Position Yourself For Leadership And Influence?

I'm privileged often to be able to help guide and empower people who are earlier in their career. It's especially important to me that I show up powerfully for women. Whether you want to believe it or not, it's proven it is harder for women to take the first necessary steps up the ladder towards leadership and influence in #Automotive.

This was a picture I received this week just after a conversation including the words you see on the image below.

She opened this fortune cookie right after we spoke.

An excerpt: "If you are ready and restless in the position you currently occupy that's OK. Don't get frustrated. Don't be upset with those who aren’t as driven, even when they are your leaders.

Get busy. Find out what it is you really want to be doing next and even next after that. Do the work that needs to be done. Start exploring new career opportunities and keep your attitude up! If you are really committed to it the path will emerge after you slice your way through it and the income will be there along with a renewed sense of purpose. But it all starts with you."

Let's do this!
Btw: If you're looking for incredible talent in Automotive, I might know the best people for you.
