One of the most important aspects of my day is learning.

To offer the best possible insights and solutions, one cannot rely on an antiquated toolbox filled with rusty awards and yellowed certificates.

We must keep up.

Taking in more information doesn't mean changing everything everyday.

Rather, it means using this information, this data, on the economy, consumers, business overall, your industry, human behavior and wrap it into new thoughts and possibilities for what could add the most value today and into the near future.

Examine what you think and if it's still applies. Test it.

I keep my mind open.

I'm rooted in core concepts proven over time such as valuing people, attracting and caring for customers and making solid, profitable business decisions.

Information alone doesn't create action. And all action alone is not good.

Constantly add new information testing what fits, where it fits and how we might integrate it into current systems + mindsets.

When you measure against the 'old', it's also helpful to gently excise what is no longer useful while being grateful for its help at one time.

Read, listen, watch, learn, question, evolve, iterate.

Knowledge is power. But knowledge is fluid. Be sure to place yourself in a steady stream of new ideas.
