A Generational Win: One of my current clients has secured me to help with every aspect of their #Performance.

📈 No stone exists that we're not looking under and planting new seeds.

✨One of the items was as foundational, yet often overlooked as the Client Experience. An important factor as high net-worth clients frequently visit their headquarters.

In our group discussion, we reviewed every aspect of their past, current and desired processes for this time.

1. We agreed these visits took precedence for the larger Conference Room for scheduling

2. We then reviewed past meeting notes only to discover the average Client visit was well over the allocated, assumed default of 60 minutes

3. Next up-Collectively, we agreed all #Client visits would call for us to block both the #ConferenceRoom and necessary personnel schedules for 90-120 minutes

4. We chose 'Green' for our digital calendars to easily identify these important meetings

5. We looked at our processes for receiving Clients and the meeting room itself.

6. Our Team realized that for each first Client visit, people are confused on where to go, and what to do.
✨We made a group decision to meet our customers on the main floor and take them up the elevators together, every time- not just for first-time guests.

7. When looking at the setting for these meetings, the room had become like many. A bit askew, uninteresting and without materials.
✨So we decided to post new whiteboards, reposition the large monitor, arrange the framed certifications, add writing materials and water plus dry erase markers, erasers and wipes.

All of these steps will serve to elevate professionalism, keep the room clear for the most important (Revenue) activities, reduce trips in and out of the room and maintain the level of respect for the Clients' time.

When I arrived the following week, who had stepped up most and taken these processes into action?

👏👏👏Our hard-working, purpose driven Gen Z team members. They were so excited- and determined- and proud- to have the room 'showroom ready' for me to view when I arrived.

Their community spirit, care for their clients and sense of purpose were all on full display.

😟Don't tell me what people won't do, especially a broad age group.

🎯Make it easy for people to see their place in the team's success.
Take the time to show them a better way and allow them to step up with ideas and actions of their own.

Leadership Matters. And Leadership is not bound to a title, nor a fictional, ill-defined age group.

Action demonstrates Leadership.
