Wise words for those of us who are Early Adopters and Innovators from one of my favorites, Matt Higgins:
"Obvious is the enemy of arbitrage.
If you want outsized returns in life, you must train your mind to cultivate your conviction and then act on opportunity before the tipping point of evidence.
Know thyself: If you are wired to be an early adopter, then when you think you’re late, you’re still early. But if you believe you’re late, anxiety will lead you to reach for the next big thing and miss the low hanging fruit right in front of your face.
Trust your intuition and don’t rely on external validation, because it’s early and others don’t have your gut.
Go all in before it’s obvious to others."
