And then 'IT' happens.
IT can be anything. But IT is usually an emergent incident, where, in a singular moment, a Leader reverts to their past methodologies, stepping completely away from a well-orchestrated strategy and plan.
This is completely normal.
I never 'love' these moments but I do welcome them as they serve as a living laboratory and a catalyst for what is next.
It takes this back-step for everyone to suddenly see the gaping chasm between old, emotional habits and a new, more cerebral, strategic approach.
Once we can navigate this conversation honestly and with new levels of awareness and ownership, we can reset our sails together towards a brave new way to conduct business.
As an industry strategist, I'd like to say I've seen it all at this point. The truth is, none of us have.
