Do people inside your organization share your purpose?
Are they even aware?
On spreading success through belonging, purpose and shared goals.Do you include them in important conversations?
Or do you simply expect them to merely react to your requests without understanding how their contribution matters to the success of the project or the company?
If you ask your team members, do they belong on your team or are they simply trying to fit in?
Do you understand the critical difference between a sense of belonging and fitting in?
Are your team members celebrated for their individual and joint success or does the leader take the spotlight?
I am particularly enthusiastic about a project I'm supporting for a large dealer group.
I'm working side-by-side with a true leader. Someone who is looking out for the best interest of those around and leaning on them.
Someone who had a vision of creating a better sense of belonging for their team but there are chains throughout there entire organization.
These leaders are rare but they are out there. If and when you are ready to join up with an organization that intentionally supports you you and your career and makes you feel like a genuine important contributor contributor, let me know.
